Sometimes you will find that the Missouri S&T library does not have a copy of the book you need.
There is still a chance that you can receive and check out a copy of the book. The libraries of the four University of Missouri campuses are organized together into a system called MERLIN. As a Missouri S&T student, you have borrowing privileges at all MERLIN libraries. If you can find a book at one of those other campuses, you can place a request and it will be delivered to this library for you at no charge. These books usually arrive within five business days.
To expand your search to the other MERLIN libraries, you only have to adjust the drop-down menu on the right side of the catalog search box by changing Missouri S&T to ALL MERLIN.
Perform your search and you will receive results from all four University of Missouri campuses' libraries.
To have a copy sent here for you, click on the blue Request button at the top of the screen.
Select the Your campus email and username option and continue.
Log in with the same information you use for Miner Mail and Blackboard.
Select *Missouri S&T Library Circulation Desk as your pickup location.
Click the blue Submit button to enter your request into the system.
Once the request is accepted, you will receive a screen informing you that it was successful.
When the book arrives at Missouri S&T, you will receive an email at your student account telling you it is available. You can pick it up at the library and check it out for a month.
If your book is not available in any MERLIN library, you might still be able to receive it from another library in Missouri through the MOBIUS system.
