Community Users

  • Public patrons only need to have a current Missouri photo ID to sign up for a library account. This could include a driver's license, passport, military ID (not required to have proof of Missouri residency), student ID card from another library, or a “Safe at Home” card.
  • Patrons under 18 years of age, must have their parent or guardian sign the application form.
  • There is no cost to set up a library account.
    • It remains active for 1 year and can be renewed.
  • Free Wi-Fi

  • Free notary service

  • State Historical Society office

  • We have puzzles and board games

  • We have a book scanner that will scan and send documents via email

  • Research help – meet with a librarian

  • Public patrons are allowed to check out 10 items from our collection
    • DVDs can be checked out for 14 days, with 1 renewal

    • Books can be checked out for 1 month, with 2 renewals

      • We have children’s books, entertainment DVDs, an extensive leisure reading section that includes science fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, and fiction material.

      • They would have access to all other reading material in the building.

  • We have 3 computers available for public patrons to use
    • These computers have access to most of our electronic databases and resources

    • Patrons are allowed to print 20 pages at no cost, per day. After their first 20 pages, it will cost $0.25 per page up to 100. (print quota is reset every day)
